Estimasi Biaya Overburden Removal menggunakan Metode Owning Cost dan Operating Cost di PT. Pancaran Surya Abadi Kalimantan Timur

Overburden removal is a critical stage in coal mining that requires effective cost management to achieve production targets optimally. The large volume of material moved makes overburden stripping costs the largest cost component in mining operations, while technical conditions such as hauling distance, haul road conditions, and mechanical equipment work efficiency also influence operational costs. This study aims to calculate the cost estimation of overburden removal in the Third Quarter using the owning cost and operating cost methods at PT Pancaran Surya Abadi, East Kalimantan, using primary data consisting of cycle time and swell factor, and secondary data including working hours, repair hours, equipment specifications, fuel consumption, fuel prices, and operator costs. The analysis was conducted by calculating mechanical equipment productivity, equipment availability, and equipment ownership and operating costs. The results show that the productivity of the DEVELON DX530LC-7M Excavator was 343.97 BCM/hour and the Zoomlion ZT115A Dump Truck was 83.36 BCM/hour, with total operational costs of US$ 81,400.97 in July, US$ 79,194.15 in August, and US$ 79,027.29 in September, with a stable production cost of US$ 0.98/BCM. The largest cost component came from the use of the Zoomlion ZT115A Dump Truck, and the owning cost and operating cost methods proved effective in estimating overburden removal costs as a basis for evaluating mining operational efficiency.
